Join us on Saturday, April 26 from 9:00am-12:00pm for our annual Earth Day Spring Cleaning! Roll up your sleeves to help us get the park ready for Spring!
Sample activities will be planting, mulching, and the general sprucing up of our landscape. If you have them, please bring gardening gloves, rakes, and other gardening tools.
Lunch will be provided at 12:00pm, as a thank you to our volunteers! We look forward to seeing you there!

Halloween Celebration and Parade
All are welcome to attend the 7th Annual "Fiends" of Brown Street Park Children's Halloween Celebration and Parade. It is occurring on Thursday, October 31 from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Kids can join in on the ghoulish games and creepy crafts while filling up on pizza and healthy snacks. At 5:00pm, join in on a neighborhood parade, as one of our favorite neighborhood bands honks, blasts, and bangs their way along the parade route.
In addition, there will be a free autumn garlic planting workshop, courtesy of Southside Community Land Trust.

"Treasure Island" Performance on August 9
On August 9 at 1:30pm, don't miss the performance of "Treasure Island" given by The ACTSA Ensemble. This is a spirited adventure based on the classic novel by R. L. Stevenson. Young Jim Hawkins takes to the high seas along with Captain Long John Silver and a crew of colorful pirates. Come and join us as we set sail in search of riches!
