Free Concert at Brown Street Park Wednesday, July 21st

Please join us for a Free Concert at Brown Street Park Wednesday, July 21st from 5-7pm featuring SAUCE.

 http://www.myspace.com/lovethatsauce

About Sauce: SAUCE hails from Providence, Rhode Island and features the serious vocal talents of Chelsy Lau, winner of The Providence Phoenix's 2009 "Best Female Vocalist" award. The band draws from a concentrated mix of American, Latin, and Jamaican roots music, resulting in high-energy blend of funk, soul and blues. Featuring keyboards, guitar, tenor/alto sax, trombone and a powerful rhythm section, Sauce's sound is utterly danceable, but also textured. With grooves you can't refuse, catchy hooks, and powerful vocals, this band is guaranteed to get the party started.

There will be cheap snacks, water and juice for sale, but there will not be a food truck at tomorrow’s concert, so pack a picnic!  In case of forecast severe weather / heavy rain, we will post a cancellation and raindate on our website www.friendsofbrownstreetpark.org by 3:00pm.
